  • ‘Animals’ To Spread Message of Love for Valentine’s Day
  • This February 14, PETA is encouraging everyone to have a heart for all living beings. PETA “animals” will take to the streets in Makati on Monday, 12 noon, to encourage everyone to show compassion to all living beings.

While dancing and giving hugs, a “cow,” “rat,” “elephant,” “dog,” and “seal” will hold signs in various languages—including English, Simplified Chinese, and Tagalog—that share ways to help animals, from going vegan to opposing cruel laboratory tests and having companion animals spayed and neutered. It’s all to support PETA’s motto: “Animals are not ours to eat, wear, experiment on, use for entertainment, or abuse in any other way.”

This will be held along the Intersection of Ayala Avenue and Salcedo (outside The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf), Makati and will continue along Ayala Avenue to Makati Avenue.)
