Turkish flour group targets $50 million exports to the Philippines
In a report published by thestandard.com.ph, the Turkish Flour Yeast and Ingredients Promotion Group (TFYI) targets to increase exports to the Philippines to $50 million with the help of a new quality certification system to be launched in March.

According to TFYI chairman Turgay Unlu, “by increasing the basis of quality… you will see us rising to the different segments because of the quality.”
He added that the Philippines will be the first market to put the quality system into practice as it is one of the most important markets of Turkey.

Based on tfyi.gov.tr, the Group was established in 2012 with the purpose of improving Turkey’s agricultural sector by exporting products to the world market with a “sustainable” acceleration.
Its products include wheat flour, cereal flours, potato flour, breakfast cereals, yeast and baking powders, soups and broths, etc.
