As Ayala Group of Companies’ social development arm, AFI is the one responsible in creating programs in Education, Youth, Leadership, Sustainable Livelihood, and Arts and Culture for the Filipino community. Through AFI’s implemented programs, communities across the country are helped to “create positive change in the lives of many Filipinos.”
Chairman and CEO of Ayala Corporation and AFI Co-Chairman Jaime Augusto Zobel de Ayala (JAZA)
In his message of thanks, Chairman and CEO of Ayala Corporation and AFI Co-Chairman Jaime Augusto Zobel de Ayala expressed the importance of their partners in their foundation. “Without partnerships, the foundation wouldn’t have reached virtually all geographic regions in the country, or even beyond,” he said.
AFI President Ruel T. Maranan also thanked the partners who attended the event. “Your hearts of gold have allowed us to reach more communities, implement stronger programs, and improve more lives in the past year,” he added.

After their remarks, a presentation of AFI’S 2016 Year in Review was shown that featured the projects they implemented throughout the year. Heart-warming choral performances by the Ateneo Chamber Singers soon followed after the presentation.
