PH, Cambodia sign agreements covering crime, labours, sports, and tourism
The Philippines and Cambodia have inked several agreements covering deals on fighting transnational crime and cooperation in labor, sports, and tourism.
The deals were secured at Phnom Penh, Cambodia during President Rodrigo Duterte’s state visit to the Southeast Asian nation.
Duterte and Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Philippine National Police and the Cambodian National Police regarding cooperation in combating transnational crime. It was signed by Cambodian Foreign Affairs Minister Prak Sokhon and Philippine Foreign Affairs Secretary Perfecto Yasay Jr.

The Memorandum of Agreement between the Government of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Government of the Republic of the Philippines Concerning the Cooperation in the Field of Labor was also signed by Yasay and Cambodian Labor Minister Ith Sam Heng.
Also signed was the Memorandum of Agreement Between the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Philippines Sports Commission of the Republic of the Philippines on Sports Cooperation and Implementation Program of Tourism Cooperation 2016-2020 between the Ministry of Tourism of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Department of Tourism of the Republic of the Philippines.
