  • According to the statement released by MMDA, The Inter-Agency Council on Traffic (i-ACT) had relaunched the ‘Enhanced Pasig River Ferry Service’ last December 9, Friday, as an alternative mode of transportation to Metro Manila residents especially with the Holiday traffic rush drawing near.

    The Pasig River Ferry service is the only water-based transportation in Manila, which benefits commuters to avoid the traffic in the metro.

    As part of its public service offering, Megaworld Corp. has provided a free shuttle service that will be available to passengers going to Guadalupe Station from Uptown Bonifacio in Taguig City. This will run until the first week of January.

    According to Megaworld Corp., the shuttle service schedule will correspond to the schedule of the ferry service. Curerntly, the MMDA operates and maintains 11 ferries and 12 stations along Pasig River.

    Extended operation hours are as follows:

    • 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. for Guadalupe-Maybunga
    • 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for Maybunga-Guadalupe
    • 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. for Guadalupe-Pinagbuhatan
    • 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. for Pinagbuhatan-Guadalupe
    • 8:15 a.m. to 10:15 p.m. for Guadalupe-San Joaquin
    • 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. for Plaza Mexico-Guadalupe
