  • Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) Auto Financial Services Corp. (MAFS) held its inauguration ceremony on November 18, 2016 at Conrad Hotel in Pasay City to officially announce the start of its auto finance operations for Mitsubishi vehicle buyers in Metro Manila and selected provinces in Luzon.

MAFS is an affiliate of Banco de Oro (BDO)—the largest bank in the Philippines. In a press conference attended by Mikihisa Takayama, MAFS president & CEO; Kazuharu Kamiyama, MAFS executive president for credit & collection; Walter Wassmer, BDO Unibank Inc. senior executive vice president; and Dante Calma, MMPC marketing division first vice president, the executives explained that since the auto industry is on the rise, they prepared an expansion plan to make it easier for people to own a Mitsubishi vehicle.
