Miss Philippines Nicole Cordoves is 1st runner up at Miss Grand International 2016
Philippine bet Nicole Cordoves wins 1st runner up in Miss Grand International held at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.

Cordoves, represented the Philippines in the recently-held competition wherein Miss Indonesia Ariska Putri Pertiwi was crowned Miss Grand International. Placing second runner-up is Miss Thailand, 3rd runner-up is Miss Puerto Rico, and fourth runner-up is Miss USA.
It is Philippines’ first time to join the said pageant which is now on its third run. The theme for the pageant is “Stop the War,” according to the organizers as reported by CNN Philippines.
