Head of Global Safety in Facebook Atigone Davis said in a statement that they redesigned the Facebook Safety Center to help people control their experience on the platform and for them to feel safe while sharing some of their most important moments in life.

The Safety Center is available in over 50 languages and features mobile-friendly tools to control user experience, provide tips and resources for safe and secure sharing, and give guidelines through step-by-step videos.

Meanwhile, the Bullying Prevention Hub serves as a resource for teens, parents and educators seeking guidance on how to prevent and address bullying. This is in partnership with the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence which developed the feature in 2013. Now, Facebook is also working with 50 partners worldwide to make the Bullying Prevention Hub more widely accessible.

Visit the Facebook Safety Center via facebook.com/safety to run a security and privacy check-up for your Facebook account. These check-ups will give you an update if someone tries to log in into your account using a new device and will enable you to review who can see your posts and information available on your profile.
