    • This October 19 (Wednesday), join Human Nature in honoring the unique and exceptional values of the Filipina through the first ever Pinay & Proud Summit, in College of St. Benilde School of Design and Arts Theater.

    Pinay & Proud tells the stories of amazing /Filipino women to inspire young people to serve the least while pursuing excellence. Past Pinay & Proud honorees include Akiko Thomson-Guevara, Lisa Macuja Elizalde, and Maria V. Montelibano to name a few.

    Done in partnership with De La Salle — College of Saint Benilde, this year’s theme is “Your Goodness Shines”. The event aims to showcase Pinay & Proud’s values to more bright young minds.

    Ten women who have made significant contributions in the fields of environmental protection, poverty alleviation and education will be recognized at the Advocacy Summit. Pinay and Proud honorees for 2016 include Anya Lim of ANTHILL Fabric Gallery, Public School Teacher Sabrina Ongkiko, Hindy Weber Tantoco & Melanie Teng-Go of Holy Carabao, and Kara David of GMA Network.
