In a report by ABS-CBN News through ANC’s Market Edge with Cathy Yang, Gulf Oil has put up this station at Bataan Town in Manila Bay, according to Gulf Oil International Vice President Frank Rutten.
“We’re very proud to be here in the Philippines, to grow with the economy and to grow much faster than the economy like we do in many markets that we participate (in),” said Rutten in the interview.
In a statement by the Gulf Oil Firm, as reported by Inquirer, the petroleum brand expects to be the first of several fuel stations in key cities in Mindanao, Cagayan Valley, and Metro Manila. “Gulf Oil aims to put up at least 20 fuel stations for the remaining part of the year up to the end of 2017 to jump-start its retail network growth and is now looking for new partners to take the brand into new territories and new product markets,” Gulf Oil stated.
Gulf Oil is present in more than 100 countries, and its products are provided to distributors in Asia, Europe and America.
