Yoshinoya celebrates expansion of Megamall branch with Miss Earth International 2016 contestants

Japanese fast food chain Yoshinoya held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the opening of the new expansion area of its SM Megamall branch on Wednesday, October 12. Invited to the special event are the lovely candidates of Miss Earth International 2016.

Over the years, Yoshinoya is known to serve appetizing, savory, yet affordable Japanese dishes in the Philippines, including their famous beef bowl which, according to Operations Manager Ms. Lala Habana, is their “hero product” and that this dish makes them “stand out from other restaurant.” No wonder it has grown to be one of the biggest fast-food chains around the globe including Japan, USA, Hongkong, China, Singapore, Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand.

Currently, Yoshinoya has 9 branches in the Philippines: 1 in Cebu and 8 in Metro Manila. This year, they are currently constructing 3 new stores at SM Southmall, SM Fairview and SM Cebu. Plus, beefing to open 3 more in 2017.
At the event, Yoshinoya served Vita Coco Natural Coco water as refreshments, Gyudon beef bowl for lunch, and Tiramisu for dessert to their invited media people and bloggers.

After which, the candidates of the Miss Earth International 2016 have arrived and gracefully introduced themselves to the members of the press. Not only did they perform during the program, they also presented their environmental advocacies and beliefs on how this generation can make a difference.
