Jose was in tears as she accepted the award onstage with Mendoza and her daughter, Andi Eigenmann. She played Rosa Reyes, a mother and store owner in Manila who sells drugs with her husband, played by Julio Diaz, to make ends meet.
Jose has starred in numerous Filipino films and soap operas, with her latest project being GMA’s The Millionaire’s Wife, where she plays a spoiled, rich woman.
