  • Viral outbreaks are nothing new to the modern world: the H1N1 or swine flu pandemic of 2009, the Ebola outbreak of 2014, and most recently, the Zika virus outbreak. Zika has been causing a scare across the globe, with pregnant women, specifically the unborn child, being the most vulnerable.
