‘Facebook Live’ is now available on personal profiles
If you have been receiving notifications on your Facebook that your favorite page is “live”, then you’re probably seeing the biggest social network’s Live feature.
Facebook Live is a streaming service for pages to broadcast a live chat or show directly from their timeline. In 2015, it was only available for selected verified public figures. Now, some users can do a live streaming, which can be viewed by their Facebook friends, although it is not available to everyone yet. But if you are one of the lucky people who have this option, Facebook has provided a simple tutorial for you to follow, so you can broadcast from your timeline. Click here.
The broadcast happens in real time and you can see the number of live viewers and/or the names of friends who are watching. Real time comments are also visible and once you finish your video broadcast, it will stay in your timeline like a regular video upload. However, your broadcast cannot be longer than 30 minutes.
