11 Filipinos make it to Forbes’ annual billionaires list
This 2016, 11 wealthy Filipinos have made it again to the Forbes billionaires list, securing a place in a roll dominated by mostly US-based entrepreneurs.

With the highest rank among other Filipinos, well-known tycoon Henry Sy of SM Investments Corporation lands at #71 spot with a net worth of $12.9B. He is then followed by chairman emeritus John Gokongwei, Jr. of JG Summit Holdings, Inc., on the #270 spot with a $5B.
Lucio Tan of various industrial conglomerate operations lands at the #380 spot with his $4B net worth. Following Tan at #421 spot is George Ty of GT Capital Holdings, Inc.
David Consunji of DMCI Holdings, Inc., Andrew Tan Jr., of Alliance Global Group, Inc., and Tony Tan Caktiong of Jollibee Foods Corporation are tied in the #569 spot in the Forbes list.
International Container Terminal Services Inc.’s Enrique Razon Jr. places #722 on the list with his $2.4B net worth.
Lucio and Susan Co of Puregold Price Club. Inc. lands at the #1121 spot with their $1.6 B net worth. They are at the same spot with Robert Coyiuto Jr., of the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines and PGA Automobile.
Last on the list is former PH senator Manuel Villar, with his $1.3B net worth with business on real estate.
