For this year, The Philipppine Commission on Women (PCW) has chosen the theme “Kapakanan ni Juana, Isama sa Agenda!” (Include Women in the Agenda) as a call for gender equality in leadership and decision making positions in both private and public sectors, to be included in all platforms and government’s agenda that concerns women and, to prepare young women to reach their goals and ambitions.
They also have organized events throughout the month that is closely connected to the said theme, such as the “Sama-samang pagsulong sa mga agenda ni Juana” (Gathering of Women Advocates for the National Women’s Month Celebration) event on March 16 at the Luneta Park.
