In a Facebook post last February 17, Grab’s official Facebook page posted a photo of a jeepney painted with Grab logo that signals a new mode of transportation to be offered by Grab in Manila.

On February 19, in another post, Grab officially announced that #GrabJeep will start its operations today that will have routes from Magallanes – Ayala – Buendia – Guadalupe – Boni – Shaw – Megamall – Ortigas – Santolan – Araneta – SM North Edsa.

The photo of the jeepney posted is not the ordinary kind of jeepney you see along Manila roads, as it looks like a modernized and high-technology version of the transportation. The jeepney has its doors located at the side, but it still has that traditional Filipino jeepney emblem as a Philippine flaglet is seen at the front part of its bumper.

You know what makes this #GrabJeep one of the things to look forward to? According to Grab, it has an air-conditioning system which can make commuting life sweat-free! Here’s to a fragrant and hassle-free daily commute once it formally launches!

Do you think this is a great idea to help Grabbers and daily commuters? Tell us in the comments section below!
