  • Malacañang has declared November 18 & 19 which fall on Wednesday and Thursday as non-working holidays in Metro Manila to give way for the APEC Summit (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Leaders’ Summit).

    The Philippines will host the 2015 APEC summit and expects the attendanceof leaders of the 21 member-economies of APEC—including Chinese President Xi Jinping—US President Barack Obama—Russian President Vladimir Putin—and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, are attending the APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting (AELM).
