Slidefest Philippines: Eat. Slip. Slide. Repeat!
Slidefest brought 1,000 ft of happiness down south over the weekend!
.
NO BEACH? NO PROBLEM! Slidefest Philippines thought of cooling down the summer in the city.
.
Slidefest Philippines in Filinvest is the second slip-and-slide water event this summer and it proved to be the best. The event was held at Pacific Rim Street, Filinvest near Palms Resort on May 16 and 17, 2015. Around 6,000 sliders attended the festival!
The moment you enter the venue, the fun instantly starts. Both sides of the street that lead to the slide’s entrance were filled with food trucks, food stalls, and booths set up by the event’s sponsors.
.
.
FUN AND FOOD IN ONE. The weekend was made even more fantastic by the purveyors present who had goodies for hungry sliders.
.
The booths had fun games and gave out a lot of freebies! At the end of the street, a DJ played upbeat music, which pumped everyone up!
.
BOOTHS GALORE! Fun, games and a whole lot more are up for grabs!
.
The team behind the biggest slip-and-slide festival in the Philippines brought in two different slides last weekend: the Regular Slide and the Foam Slide!
.
NOT ONE, BUT TWO. Sliders can choose to go on the foam slide and the regular slide.
.
The Foam Slide was shorter than the Regular Slide but was definitely just as fun! A huge foam gun blasted out thick clouds of bubbles, which eventually filled the water slides and the street itself.
.
ALL SMILES WHILE SLIDING. The foam on the Foam Slide makes this slippery experience even more slippery!
.
The Regular Slide went all the way down the hill slope of the street, which gave the sliders an adrenalin-pumping experience up until they crash into the wash pool at the end!
.
WITH NOTHING BUT THE CIRCULAR INFLATABLE AS YOUR COMPANION, go on a 1000-feet journey!
.
Despite the hot weather and the long cue in line, everyone still enjoyed the event! Slidefest has definitely taken water sliding to a whole new level. We can’t wait for the next one!
.
JUST CAN’T GET ENOUGH. Sliders of all ages surely enjoyed going on this water slide again and again!
