LEGO Warehouse Sale: A Review
Two words: ultimate adventure.
The LEGO Warehouse Sale 2014 that took place last December 10-14 was an ultimate adventure, a treasure hunt to be more precise. The adventure started in locating the “very mysterious” venue of the sale itself. It is amusing to think that the sale was held very close to Eastwood City, but still remain elusive at the same time – an adventure indeed for LEGO hunters and collectors, especially those who are from the southern part of the Metro.
The amazement does not end there, though. One would be overwhelmed not with the LEGO products available, but with the number of people who wanted their LEGO! Kudos to the organizers, though, who handled the situation fairly well and remained friendly and professional despite the chaos.
And so the real treasure hunt began. The LEGO products available are quite satisfactory: the newest products such as LEGO Friends, Chima, Duplo, Minifigures, LEGO City, The Hobbit, Lord of the Rings and Star Wars were available at 20-50% off! Think gift shopping galore! However, if you are a hobbyist or a collector looking for older types of LEGO, you might be disappointed. The prices were real bargains, though, and you wouldn’t hesitate grabbing the nearest box near you – everything was a real steal!
Overall, the LEGO Warehouse Sale is an adventure worth pursuing. Despite the very tiring journey, one can claim that the trip was definitely worth the LEGO treasure.
