Playa La Careta in Bataan: An eco-tourism paradise of coves and white sand beach

Playa La Careta, which is Spanish for beach cove, is an eco-tourism resort boasting 100 hectares of beach coves and a kilometer of white sand beach. It is a perfect resort for people who want to leave their villages from nature lovers and day-to-day tiredness.

It takes about 10 minutes by boat to go to this resort from the town of Morong, Bataan. The view of the sea and the island appearing on the way is almost like a picture; enjoy it even with just a day trip at this resort.

Playa La Careta boasts of a one-kilometer white sand beach, world class bathroom and shower facilities, two natural hot spring pools, and other facilities. Cottages are available for up to 6 people for a day trip price of Php 1,500 and an overnight stay of Php 2,500. The tree house can accommodate up to 4 people at only Php 1,000 or overnight at Php 1,500.

Air conditioners are not always in place, but ceiling fans are installed at the top of each room. Electricity, outlets, picnic tables, pillows, mattresses, mosquito nets, and curtains are available for guests to stay comfortable. Those who wish camp out on the beach can rent a tent that can accommodate up to four people for only Php 300 during day trips and Php 500 for an overnight stay.

You can bring your own tent and pay a pitching fee of Php 150 during the day or Php 200 for an overnight stay.

Playa La Careta offers abundant water activities, you can enjoy stand paddling, snorkeling, kayaks, slipping slides, skimboarding, and surfing. Those who like sports can also play volleyball, badminton, football, kite flying, and frisbee.
