  • Tagaytay is known as a viewpoint of the majestic Taal Lake and Escala Tagaytay takes the experience a bit further by providing their guests with one of the best views of the lake that you can find in the city.

    Located just along the Tagaytay-Nasugbu Highway, Escala Tagaytay is a boutique hotel that is equipped with around 60 rooms, each with a view of its serene infinity pool and the lake.

    This hotel offers facilities that are guaranteed to create the ideal balance between work and play. The hotel not only boasts one of the best views of the Taal Lake, but it also some of the best amenities and facilities that Tagaytay has to offer.

    Among their beautiful selection of rooms is the Deluxe Room. This 34-square-meter room is equipped with a queen bed and a single bed ideal for intimate getaways with your loved ones. It also comes with a private balcony that provides a view of their infinity pool.

    You may also opt for their Premier Room which includes one queen bed and one double size bed also with a view of Taal Lake or their Family Prestige Room that has four double beds, perfect for a family getaway in Tagaytay. The Deluxe, Premium, and Family Prestige Rooms are just among the seven room categories that you can choose from for your stay at Escala Tagaytay.

    While Taal Lake can be viewed from most parts of the hotel, nothing beats the view that visitors will get from the hotel’s Infinity Pool. Escala’s Infinity Pool is the perfect place to unwind at any time of the day while marveling at the full view beauty of the lake.

    At Escala’s in-house restaurant, Bellisima, you’ll find a selection of Filipino and Continental favorites that you can choose from while enjoying the majestic lake as a backdrop. You may also savor handcrafted pastas, woodfired pizzas, and seafood dishes at Osteria Escala, their Italian restaurant!

    Aside from its fully-equipped rooms, the hotel also offers amenities such as their gym and spa. The gym is open from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. while the Vedere Spa, which offers a variety of spa treatments, is open from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

    How to get there

    • By car: From Makati take the SLEX and take the Binan exit. From Binan exit, take the Santa Rosa – Tagaytay road. Follow along the Santa Rosa – Tagaytay road then turn right onto the Tagaytay – Calamba Rd., then merge onto the Tagaytay-Nasugbu Highway. Follow along the highway until you reach the Meralco Tagaytay Business Center, Escala Tagaytay is at the left of the road. 
    • By public transport: From the Ayala triangle, take the Erjohn and Almark bus bound to Tagaytay and then get off at Olivarez Plaza. From there, you can ride a jeepney and drop-off at SkyRanch Tagaytay. From there, you can walk going to Escala Tagaytay. The theme park is only a 9-minute walk away from the hotel.
