A bastion that was built by the Spanish army in order to fight back against its enemies. The stone path creates historical ambiance as you enter the historic garden entrance.

The beautiful garden is located at the very south end of Intramuros. However, it was destroyed by the invasion of the British army in 1762. Although the bastion has been restored, the ruins of the fortress that was built during the period of Spanish rule still remain.

The garden is now a landscape of beautiful flowers and greenery, and you can have a view of the skyscrapers of Manila from the fortress on the hill. It can be a perfect spot to relax as well. Entrance fee for adults is P75 and P50 for students.
