National Museum of the Philippines to Reopen on June 19
The National Museum of the Philippines sets to reopen on June 19, 2021.
After the approval made by the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) and the Department of Tourism (DOT) this week to resume operation of all historical places and museums in NCR Plus, the National Museum of the Philippines immediately announced they’re reopening through their SocMed account on Wednesday.

In their Facebook post, the reopening is in line with the commemoration of Dr. Jose Rizal’s 160th birth anniversary. However, there are only a few sections of the museum that will be opened for the public, namely the National Museum of Fine Arts, National Museum of Anthropology, and/or National Museum of Natural History.
The National Museum also released guidelines for visitors and clarified that no walk-ins will be allowed to enter the establishment.
