Marius B&B and Hostel in Silang Cavite: A Rustic Haven for Backpackers
Staying in Silang for a few (or more) nights? You can elevate the experience by choosing Marius Bed & Breakfast and Hostel as your accommodation.
The place is a bit hidden since it is located inside of a street by the highway, but that adds to the overall charm of the B&B.
Upon entering, you will be welcomed by various greeneries, art pieces, flags, and of course, Marius Violago, the owner and host of the place.
The B&B has eight rooms with single, twin and double accommodations, as well as one family room.
Most of their guests are foreign and young travelers who are looking for a reasonably priced yet comfortable place to stay. Their rates start as low as Php 650 for the Budget Single Room accommodation.
The rooms are rustic in design as the owner had personally chosen the decor based on what he had in mind for that day. He also shared that there was absolutely no planning involved in the aesthetic of the whole place.

When you check out the reviews for the B&B online, you will see people raving about the hospitality and friendliness of the owner.
Marius makes it a point to engage with his guests, going as much as preparing meals with them and accompanying them to the beach. These guests often give or send him a flag of their country as a souvenir, and you can see these flags hanging by the cafe.
The B&B also has an in-house spa, which has three separate spa rooms. As of this writing, their services are only limited to massages starting at Php 400.
Guests can also dine at the B&B’s cafe where pieces of artwork, books, and decors can be seen—displayed for decoration and some for sale.
How to get here
- By car: From Makati take the SLEX and turn right to Carmona Exit. From Carmona Exit, continue on Governor‘s Dr. to Emilio Aguinaldo Hwy. Turn left to R. Asuncion Street and you can find Marius B&B on the right side of the street.
- By public transport: From Ayala triangle, take the Erjohn and Almark bus bound to Tagaytay and then get off at R. Asuncion Street situated on the right side of the road. Marius B&B is located near Villa Sol Resort. The usual bus fare is Php 77.
