  • PLAY at Okada Manila: Things to Know about the Newest Indoor Play Space in the Philippines
  • As the newest indoor play area in Manila, PLAY or “Purposeful Learning and Activities for the Young” seeks to elevate your child’s play by providing an engaging and enriching experience for children. Opening this February 10, the multi-functional play space seeks to create a fun atmosphere for everyone with a goal of enhancing children’s development. To learn what differentiates PLAY from other play areas in Manila, here are some things to know about Okada’s newest spot:

PLAY offers programs for different age groups

PLAY welcomes kids, tweens, and teens from ages one to 16 years old. To cater to each age bracket, PLAY offers four programs that address their needs. At Colors and Creations, kids will be able to learn about arts and crafts to develop creativity and imagination. Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow offers a one-on-one tutorial for occupational therapy needs. Music & Movement focuses on kids’ talents in the performing arts. Lastly, Life Skills teaches practical needs such as social graces, anti-bullying, housekeeping, and personal nutrition among others.

PLAY is led by certified experts and licensed teachers

To further provide the highest standards of learning, PLAY employs licensed teachers and certified experts to better improve the learning experience. Here, each program is coach-assisted to ensure that everyone learns while enjoying in the area. One-on-one sessions are also available for your child related to speech and physical therapy, academics, and reading.

PLAY features eight interactive facilities for everyone

Each purpose-built play area highlights its own important goal in child’s development. Mini Steps & Mini Me is a space for babies and toddlers to enjoy cubes, see-saws, and ball pits. Little Town lets children experience the life of a grown-up working in grocery, banking, and postal office. Sports Zone is for the young athletes who love to play sports. The Stage unleashes the inner performer in your child by cultivating their talents in singing, dancing, or public speaking. Janguru features an interactive gaming floor with drop and turbo slides, obstacle courses, and rope bridges. Wizard’s Den lets your children defeat mythical creatures while letting them create their own fireballs. Little Park is a playground for toddlers with zip lines, obstacles, and barrel roll. My Party Place is an area for special events at PLAY.

    PLAY is PWD accessible

Children with disabilities and special needs are welcome in the world of PLAY. With SPED qualified and licensed coaches, your child’s playtime will surely be safe and fun. Programs are available for them such as one-on-one therapies and inclusive group activities. The play area is built to international safety specs with CCTVs installed around the area for monitoring. A first aid station is also available.
