  • Villas Buenavista in La Union: A marble haven for tourists
  • They say back in the days that having marble floors and walls is a sign of wealth and elegance. It’s not every day that you can witness the beauty of these metaphoric rocks especially in San Juan, La Union. Established in 2016, Villas Buenavista is a sight to behold. It was back in the 90s when the owner, Marcela Buenavista – Millan, dreamed of having her own resort and a place to stay in San Juan, La Union.

Claimed to be built by the Spaniards, she dreamed of buying the tower one day. Unfortunately, the years passed when the tower’s ownership was transferred to the municipality, making it impossible to buy the tower. Mrs. Buenavista still pursued her dream and bought hectares of land around the tower, even having her own castle-like residence nearby it. Thus, Villas Buenavista was born. What seems to be ordinary is actually extraordinary to some as a resort made with marble floors and walls is something unique and eye-catching to tourists.

The concept of the resort is to somewhat mimic the Mediterranean-style hotel and villas. Since the owner is a jet-setter herself, she has traveled around Europe mostly in Greece, Portugal, and Spain wherein the bricks, marbles, and texture of the stones there inspired her then she decided to bring it to the Philippines. The resort is a luxury beachfront sanctuary with a poolside bar and restaurant overlooking the beach.

If you’re looking for a place to stay that isn’t crowded or quiet, Villas Buenavista can be your home. They offer budget, standard, superior rooms and for the groups and you can also stay at their Suite and Executive Villas. Foreigners or expats are always seen around the resort renting their own villas and enjoying the beach. For the Executive Villas, they are located on a different compound. You can also take a dip in the private swimming pool located in front of the villas.

With just a few meters away from San Juan, La Union, Villas Buenavista promises comfort, pleasure, and unique experience to stay in a resort filled with the luxurious marble floorings and walls. For inquiries, you may visit them at www.villasbuenavista.ph. They are also widely available on different apps such as Trivago, Tripadvisor, and much more.
