Lomboy Farms in La Union: The First Grape Farm in the Philippines
Aside from the beaches of La Union, one more thing to do in the town is to visit the popular vineyard which was established in 1972. Lomboy Farms, the pioneer grape farm in the Philippines, humbly started with only 20 grape cuttings procured from Cebu with 25 hectares of land. Now, it has expanded not only in producing grapes, but also other fruits such as guapples and dragon fruit which also help in the agricultural sector in the Philippines.
