Ilog Maria Honeybee Farm is a good stopover along Aguinaldo Highway coming from or on the way back to Manila.
Named in honor of the Virgin Mary who is said to have brought countless miracles to the place, Ilog Maria specializes in natural and handmade beeswax products that have nutritive and healing properties.

Ilog Maria is also a sanctuary that is open for tours that let you tune into nature and tap into your spiritual side. The place can be accessed through Aguinaldo Highway in Silang, Cavite, and is quite a long way from the highway, so it’s advisable to go here in a private car.
How to get there:
- By car: From Makati take the SLEX and turn right to Carmona Exit. From Carmona Exit, continue on Governor’s Dr. to Emilio Aguinaldo Hwy. Turn left at Lalaan 1 and take the St. Violaine street going to Ilog Maria.
- By public transport: From the Ayala triangle, take the Erjohn and Almark bus bound to Tagaytay and then get off at Lalaan 1 then ride a tricycle going inside St. Violaine.
