Looking for a beach south of Cebu yet not too fond of overcrowded or secluded beaches? Try Mahayahay Beach, located in the town of Argao.

Mahayahay Beach is the place to be if you’re looking for activities on the beach this side of Cebu. Kids will love swimming in its crystal-clear waters, while those who are a bit adventurous will fall in love with skim boarding, a popular past time among the children living close to Mahayahay Beach.
It’s not as crowded as White Beach in Basdako, Moalboal, yet it’s also not as secluded as other beaches in southern Cebu, as it has several beachfront resorts and home stays available for those looking to stay for a night or two. This makes it the perfect getaway for anyone who’s grown tired of overcrowded beach resorts.
To get to Mahayahay Beach, you can take a CERES Liner bus straight from Cebu’s South Bus Terminal to Argao, then take a tricycle from Argao to Mahayahay Beach.
