  • A child’s paradise: Rio Grande De Laoag Resort Hotel
  • Opened in the early 2000s, it’s found beside Padsan River which runs through the city of Laoag. Simple rooms and a big pool that you can find along the banks of the river give Rio Grande De Laoag a feeling of being in nature.

Their restaurant/souvenir shop has a view deck of this river along with a large function room. Rooms for hotel guests are split in two buildings, with their three-storey main building having rooms that have a view of both the pool and the river.

It’s a good place for kids since their resort grounds are big enough for them to play in. Its location makes it so you’re far enough away from the center of Laoag that you won’t be bothered by the noise yet close enough that you’ll never be in a rush if you’re trying to catch a flight.

If you’re in Laoag to take in all the sights and sounds of the Ilocos region, it’s the perfect place to stay. It’s also great for team buildings, conventions, retreats, seminars, and conferences, thanks to the 1.06-hectare property.

The forest-like terrain will also appeal to nature lovers, especially with the view deck that’s perfect for bird watching. This makes it a good place to commune with nature and disconnect from the rest of the world, a great way to relieve stress.

You can find the Rio Grande de Laoag Resort Hotel at Brgy. Suyo, Laoag City, Ilocos Norte. For reservations, you can call their Manila office at 02-782-3637 or 0917-483-6102. If you’re already in Laoag, you can call them at 077-676-1726.
