Thanks to masses of land available in Antipolo, it’s heralded as one of the places where you can get a good round of golf. It’s currently home to four golf clubs, one of which is Sun Valley Golf Club.

    course

THE COURSE WITH THE BEST VIEWS. Challenging and picturesque at the same time: it’s the best way to describe Sun Valley Golf Club.

Sun Valley Golf Club is a 21-hole course that’s been described as one of the best in the country. It’s one of the few courses that everyone has access to. There’s no need to register as a member or pay monthly dues since they only charge a green fee.

Sun Valley Golf Club’s 18-hole course is a 72-par, 6,790-yard world class course designed with the help of the Palmer Course Design Company Asia Pacific.

Other golf clubs usually have 9 or 18 holes, but Sun Valley has 21 picturesque holes, all situated within the mountains of Antipolo. Apart from the challenge it will give for golfers of all levels, it also has some of the best views for those who enjoy going for a round of golf.

The three extra holes will be used for a proposed golf academy, though they can be used in place of other holes in case one of the original 18 needs maintenance.

The terrain at Sun Valley is very challenging even to most experienced golfers. Tricky putts and fairways that can (and will) punish amateurs are in store for anyone who wants to try a round at Sun Valley Golf Club.

Apart from the spectacular greens, Sun Valley Golf Club also has some of the best views you’ll get from any course this close to Manila. Antipolo is known for restaurants with panoramic views of the metro, but most of its golf clubs are tucked away behind too many trees. Sun Valley is different, as it lets golfers take in the wonders of nature (natural waterfalls, free-flowing spring-fed streams) along with a view of the Manila skyline.

    clubhouse

TAKE A BREAK. Their clubhouse has top-notch facilities for all of their guests.

If you’re not keen on taking your talents to the course, you can take advantage of Sun Valley Golf Club’s driving range and practice putting green to hone your skills. They also have tee houses, locker rooms, function rooms, a restaurant, and an infinity pool located at Sun Valley Clubhouse, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the course form the view deck.
