  • Casa Santa in Antipolo: Christmas All Year Round
  • Filipinos love Christmas. They have the longest Christmas season in the world, spanning 5 months (September – January). If that’s not enough, or if you’re one of those who can’t wait for Christmas, there’s Casa Santa in Antipolo.

Casa Santa is a 365-day Christmas exhibit located in Jardin de Miramar. It used to be the house of the owners of Jardin de Miramar. Built in the 1950s and remodeled in 1992 by Architect Ning Encarnacion-Tan. 2008 saw the façade get a facelift from the town’s best muralist, Alfred Galvez, while in 2014, dramatic lighting was added throughout the house by renowned international light designer Shoko Matsumoto.

Casa Santa gets its name from the collection of Santa Claus-related décor that can be found throughout the house. The collection was started in 1994 by Jardin de Miramar’s president, Edna Del Rosario. The collection now has over 3,000 pieces and has a value of Php 6 million.

A CLOSER LOOK. It’s like those Christmas towns you see in movies… except this is real life.

It’s the perfect place for kids to experience an early Christmas thanks to its large collection. Some of the more interesting pieces in Casa Santa include a small scale Christmas town located at the first landing of the stairs. It’s complemented by lighting that makes it look like you’re seeing snow at night.

Jardin de Miramar, which houses Casa Santa, is a great place for kids to spend their school field trips. It’s a 3-hectare property that has a rustic playground and a mini-Intramuros. There’s also the Sylvana Tree Maze, an interactive maze where kids can learn more about nature and its four elements.

Jardin de Miramar is also a perfect place for wedding shoots and receptions, as well as team buildings and family trips to Antipolo.

You can find Casa Santa just off the entrance of Jardin de Miramar, 276 San Jose Ext., Brgy. San Isidro, Antipolo City.
