  • A boutique hotel with a serene vibe: that is Sophia’s Garden Hotel in a nutshell. Sophia’s Garden is like an oasis within an oasis, a patch of green amidst the blue sea.

    PARADISE WITHIN PARADISE

The hotel’s selling point is its garden. You’ll get a glimpse of it as soon as you walk through the gates. It’s very relaxing, especially in combination with the blue of the sea and sky. Being one of two garden hotels in Coron, Sophia’s takes pride in being the one with the more prominent garden.

The hotel’s Spanish-inspired rooms can accommodate either two or three guests at a time. The rooms look good: they’re not 5-star rooms, but they have a boutique-hotel-room feel about them.  They’re set up like villas, albeit having 4-5 rooms per block.

With so few rooms, one might think it’s not a good hotel to stay in; but the hotel’s staff say otherwise. Fewer rooms mean more attention can be given to each of them. It’s like getting a dedicated attendant for your room, making sure everything is in order during your entire stay.

    DINE IN STYLE

Sophia’s Garden Hotel also has its own restaurant. Guests need not go into town unless they want to sample the local restaurants of Coron. They serve a mixture of local and international cuisine, which are sure to satisfy anyone’s palate.

Sophia’s is a perfect venue for garden weddings thanks to its large garden space. The restaurant can be your reception venue, and one of the hotel’s many splendid rooms your honeymoon destination.

HOTEL POOL WITH A TOUCH OF GREEN

Basics are provided in each room: toiletries, TV with cable, bottled water, etc. Apart from these room amenities, they also have a pool and can help guests arrange for transfers to and from the airport. It’s also located along the Coron-Busuanga road, making it a cinch to get to from the airport.

Apart from this, the hotel has partnered with local tour providers, making sure guests won’t need to go out of their way to secure slots in Coron’s popular island hopping tours. Add in some of the friendliest staff in Coron, and you have yourself a gem of a place in this blossoming tourist destination.
