    As one of the most prestigious pageants in the country, Miss Philippines Earth recognizes the need to actively promote and get involved in the preservation of the environment, thus deciding to reinvent and improve the concept of pageants in this new millennium.

    With the Miss Earth Foundation, Miss Philippines Earth “aims to give emphasis on environmental awareness programs.”  The winner of the pageant will serve as the ambassador to environmental protection campaigns, and shall also be the representative of the country to the international beauty competition Miss Earth.
