Enjoy a Night of Astrophotography, Stargazing & Camping This March
If you love the night sky and learning about photography, then you surely wouldn’t want to miss out on Stargazing and Astrophotography at WK Forest Reserve & Campgrounds’ in Tanay, Rizal.
Happening on March 7 to 8, 2020, this overnight activity allows participants to gaze upon the beauty of the night sky and learn how to capture its grandeur.

WK Forest Reserve and Campgrounds partners up with AstroPinas, a passion project that is dedicated to taking photos of the night sky.
Participants can expect an exciting time at the camp as it starts with an offroad adventure where participants will be riding 4x4s en route to the campsite. There will be six river crossings that will surely give your adventurous side a bit of fun.
Also, participants have the option to just go stargazing and camping or they can opt to join the Astrophotography lecture that will be led by MJ Magallon of AstroPinas.

Campers are asked to bring their own tent and food, however, you may also opt to rent out tents from the campgrounds. A Big Tent that is good for four persons is priced at Php 1,000 and a small tent that fits two people is priced at Php 600. It is important to check with the WK Forest Reserve and Campgrounds first if you’re looking to rent a tent as they have limited tents available for rent.
As for food, you may bring your own or you can ask then to cook your dinner and breakfast for you. This is priced at Php 650/per head for both meals.

There are limited slots available for the event so it is advised that you sign-up here before it’s too late! Stargazing only is priced at Php 1,000/per head while the Astrophotography course is priced at Php 1,500/per head.

• Stargazing Only – Php 1,000/per head
• Astrophotography Course – Php 1,500/per head
Registration fees include roundtrip transfers via 4×4. Those who will be bringing their own vehicle will be charged Php 1,000 with no head charge except if the participants wish to join the Astrophography course; in that case, they will be charged +Php 500.
