Tokyo-Manila Jazz & Arts Festival 2014
The success of the Tokyo Manila Jazz and Arts Festival 2013 has inspired us to continue with Tokyo Manila Jazz and Arts Festival.
The annual event continues to focus on the cultural exchange and artistic collaboration between Japan and the Philippines. It aims to serve as a conduit linking both cultures through music and other allied art forms.
The collaboration should inspire and trigger innovation from both ends. It will also provide a platform to cultivate young talented artists to partake in workshops and performances with professionals.
The festival will showcase international musicians raising the level of interest with Jazz being the focused genre.
The 2014 TMJAF is planned for October 2014 with a programme of activities comprising the following events:
