  • To welcome a brand new 2018, the Singapore Embassy in Manila organized a Tree Planting Day in BGC, Taguig City to be held on January 13, 2018. Every year, a Tree Planting Day is held on the first few weeks on January to welcome the year with open arms while sharing some love with our country’s environment.

More than 100 guests and their families – including members of the diplomatic corps and Singaporeans living in Manila are invited. Last year, Senator Cynthia Villar, Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) President & CEO Mr. Vivencio Dizon, Taguig City Vice Mayor Ricardo Cruz Jr, Taguig City Councilor Edwin Eron and ASEAN Centre for Biodiversity Executive Director Atty Roberto Oliva were the guests-of-honor.

So save the date and give a hand to plant some seedlings in line with celebrating a New Year.
