Still under the conducting mastery of the PPO Music Director Maestro Yoshikazu Fukumura, the concert’s leading player Adolfo Mendoza will surely take everyone on a classical voyage.
This is especially as he performs Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Bassoon Concerto, B-flat Major, which is one of the three musical pieces to be performed for the night.
The said piece takes centerstage between Antonin Dvorak’s Serenade for String Orchestra, op.22, E Major, and Cesar Franck’s Symphony in D minor.
Adolfo Mendoza is the Principal Bassoonist of the PPO, who notably took on the role of bassoonist at the September 2000 to March 2001 run of the musical “Miss Saigon” in the Philippines, and at the March to August 2001 run in Hong Kong and Singapore.
