PULP brings back Southeast Asia’s longest-running Metal festival, PULP Summer Slam, on May 16, 2020, at the Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay City.
For its 20th year, the line-up of the annual festival will be headed by none other than the legendary metal gods, Iron Maiden! This will be their first time in the Philippines as they bring their Legacy of the Beast tour in the Slam.
“We’re delighted to finally come to The Philippines and present the Legacy Of The Beast Tour to all our fans there! We’re immensely proud of this show and we’ve had great reactions from the many fans who came to see us in Europe, North America, Mexico, and South America,” said vocalist Bruce Dickinson in an interview with Pulp.
Iron Maiden is undeniably one of the most successful metal bands in the world with a discography amounting to a whopping 39 albums composed of 16 studio albums, 12 live albums, four EPs, and seven compilations.
They first gained initial recognition in the early 80s after releasing multiple gold and platinum records like The Number of the Beast (1982), Piece of Mind (1983), and Powerslave (1984) among others.
They will be accompanied by other great bands in the line-up, namely Death Angel, BABYMETAL, Dragonforce and KING 810.
