Form Function and Class (FFC) or <form> function() & .class, is a unique, once in a lifetime opportunity to be trained by the most talented people in the industry. The 3 words allude to the 3 elements of a website (<form> from HTML, function() from JavaScript, .class from CSS) and to 3 concepts central to the craft—form, function, & continuous learning.
The FFC conference is an event for the designers, web creators, marketers, social media managers, and students to get together, attend workshops and take masterclasses. The very first FFC was held in Asian Institute Management in 2009 and started as a venue for web design but now has grown to become the best way to learn case studies, best practices, and solutions while interacting with peers and colleagues.
On the 9th Form and Function Class, expect to hear from master speakers Vitaly Friedman, Hui Jing Chen, & Holger Bartel.
Friedman from Minsk, Belarus, will be looking at crafting strategies by utilizing web technologies in the Masterclass, New Adventures in Responsive Web Design.
Hui Jing, meanwhile co-organizes Talk.CSS and will be tackling web layouts using CSS grid, flexbox, additional properties for layouts like transforms & writing-modes, feature queries, and devising fallbacks for older browsers in her Masterclass, Grid is the New Black.
Finally, speaker and co-founder of the design studio uforepublic and Colloq.io, Holger Bartel will discuss essential web development tips for accessibility, user experience, design, and performance in his masterclass, Solid Strategies to Build for a Better Web.
<form> function() & .class is scheduled on August 18, 2018. Ticket to the conference is at Php 6,000 that includes an FFC shirt, food and drinks, giveaways, certificate, videos and chance to win prizes, networking and passes to the after party while student discount is Php 4,000.
