st’ART! STEAM Workshop for Kids
In promoting art and culture in the Philippines, the Audience Development Department of the Ayala Museum has created the stART! Program for kids. A continuation of last year’s Summer stART! program, kids will not only learn how to appreciate different artistic styles but will also see how art is integrated with other fields through the st’ART! STEAM summer program.
They’ll be having different workshops mostly in Science, Math, Technology, Engineering, and Art. Children aged 6 to 12 years old are encouraged to join and participate, this summer workshop that will improve and entertain them at the same time.
Art is all around us and is integrated into scientific, technological, mathematical, and engineering concepts! Learn a different way of looking and appreciating some branches of science, concepts in math and engineering by doing different arts and crafts activities:

CONCEPT: Chemistry and Color Theory
Using the scientific method as the process, learn how to mix colors, gradients, and tints to create your own palette. After creating your own palette, learn the basics of doing abstract paintings inspired by the works of Alfonso Ossorio.

Learn how to create the patterns seen on the textiles by applying concepts of geometry in your art-making process.
