10th Animahenasyon: 2016 Philippine Animation Festival

This three-day conference with the theme “Inspiration. Creation. Animation.” will showcase the best and the brightest animators of the Philippines and bring in world-renowned professionals who could impart their expertise to both aspiring and professional animators in the country.
Participants will be able to join plenary, workshops, and breakout sessions and learn about the concerns, issues, and animation topics including new approaches and trends, animation technology, animation education, and copyright issues.
During the 10th Animahensayon, an intensive workshop called “Bridging the Gap” will be conducted. This program is brought by the Embassy of Spain in the Philippines and the Instituto Cervantes in partnership with the Animation Council of the Philippines, Inc.
Under this program, experts from the animation industry namely Guillermo Garcia Carsi (Pocoyo Creator), Manuel Cristobal (Best European Animation Producer 2012), Guadalupe Arensberg (Head of Short Films Acquisitions Department, Movistar+Espana), and Jose Luis Farias (3D Wire Director) will be going to the Philippines to share their knowledge and expertise to Animahenasyon participants.
