For the first time, Filipino brewers will compete for the opportunity to become the Philippines’ official representative at the World Origami Cup Championship 2027 in Tokyo, Japan. Only one champion will earn the honor of carrying the Philippine flag and showcasing the country’s growing coffee talent on the international stage.
The competition will be held alongside the Origami Coffee + Matcha Fest 2026, a two-day celebration of coffee, matcha, craftsmanship, creativity, and community from September 5 to 6, 2026. The festival is expected to bring together coffee professionals, enthusiasts, merchants, and members of the local beverage community for a weekend filled with shared experiences and appreciation for the craft.
