As early as 2007, the ASEAN has been preparing for the economic integration of its ten member states. The unified ASEAN Economic Community is anticipated to facilitate free movement of products, services, and labor in the region. This conference then aims to help business people and professionals better understand this and take advantage of the opportunities that will be available.

Among the talks to look forward to during the conference are:

    • “Customs Integration and Philippine Trade: Where are We?” by Ruffy Biazon, former commissioner of Bureau of Customs

    • “Transforming Philippine Manufacturing through LEAN” by Homer A. Villasis, International Toyota LEAN sensei

    • “Transforming Small Business for the ASEAN Economic Community” by Sonny del Rosario, president and training director of LifeQuest Training and Consultancy

    • “K-to-12: How it Prepares Us for the ASEAN Community” by Elvin Uy, assistant secretary for programs and projects of the Department of Education

Regular conference rate is at P3,500, with early bird rates of P1,999 offered until August 29, 2015. Special rates for PWDs and students are also available. For registration and more information, visit manilaworkshops.com.
