  • As the organizers have claimed, people make cities. That includes you.

At one point in our lives living in the Philippines (particularly in Manila), we have complained about it: the traffic, the pollution and, yes, the congestion. From May 9 to 17, get the chance to know how to rid of that congestion and more through a series of talks, workshops, tours, panel discussions and even art fairs and performances in various locations across the metro.

Pause, reflect, discuss and challenge the way Metro Manila looks like and how it will look like in the future. Know more about urban planning and how it affects your life and the life of the community around you. Converse with experts in architecture, engineering, sociology, art and other fields and see how, ultimately, you can make your living space a better place.

The Maynila Urban Design Week has already started, kicking off during the Karnabal Festival last May 9 at the UP Vargas Museum. This was followed by a two-day street photography workshop with Luis Liwanag. However, you still have the chance to participate in the following activities below:

See you as well on May 16 on Maginhawa Street, Quezon City and on May 17 at Maestranza Plaza, Intramuros for the Maynila Urban Festival! Go on a food, shopping and music trip and attend a series of workshops and talks. Check out the activities below:
