A “Hooker” from Bangkok is coming to the Philippines!
No, we do not mean that kind of hooker. We’re talking about fishing enthusiast Sittipon “Oz” Chanarat, a.k.a. the Bangkok Hooker. Oz is on a mission to experience the weirdest and wildest fishing adventures his home country of Thailand has to offer in the new Discovery Original Production Bangkok Hooker.
THE BANGKOK HOOKER. No, he’s not like that. He’s Oz Charanat, a fishing enthusiast from Bangkok, Thailand.
Oz has travelled across Thailand to try and find his own weird and wild fishing adventure. He’s been taken from the streets to a golf course, using everything from conventional fishing gear to a homemade lure. In the series, he’ll also spend a day with local fishermen, going knee-boarding for clams and wakeboarding, Thai style.
He’ll be visiting the Philippines early next month to talk more about the fish he’s already caught and the experience of going through the most unique of fishing expeditions in his home country. We’ll give you more details on his show, the Bangkok Hooker, in the following weeks before it premiers in the 2nd quarter of 2017.
