    Lately, the local and foreign media has been eyeing on the next statement as to what the President Rodrigo has to say in front of the public. And now that he’s gracing the APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation) Summit in Peru on November 19-21, the media await for the next controversy that might happen.

    According to a news published by Inquirer.net, the Malacañang insiders shared that there has been a marked of interest in the Philippine President among foreign journalists.

    “Our past presidents don’t usually get that much attention from the foreign press,” said one source, who disclosed that at least one international media agency and a Peruvian news organization were seeking an opportunity to cover or interview President Duterte.

    The annual trade summit will be attended by leaders of 21 pacific rim economies in which he is expected to have a sit-down with Russian president, Vladimir Putin and bilateral meetings with two to four leaders.

    With his past statements on breaking ties with US and declaration against European Union, attendees will get to know the real agenda and ideology of the President.
