Local animation studios represent PH in France
The Animation Council of the Philippines, Inc. (ACPI) together with participating Philippine animation studios attended the International Market of Communications Program (MIPCOM) on October 17-20, 2016 at the Palais des Festivals et des Congres in Cannes, France.

In this four-day event, Filipino representatives showcased the capabilities of the country in terms of digital content.
In a report published by the Department of Trade and Industry, ACPI President Juan Miguel Del Rosario said that attending the MIPCOM is a big opportunity for the animation industry of the Philippines since the major players in the industry are there.
This opportunity can generate new business engagements as there is a growing demand for content and creative services in Europe.
The representatives include the ASI Animation Studios, RenderBee, Synergy88, TeamApp, Toon City, Toon City Academy, Top Peg Animation, and 88storey Films.
In a report published by the Business Mirror, the Philippine delegation included leaders in creative design and animation capabilities across major categories. They specialize in Web and mobile games and applications, interactive and immersive visual technology, animation, production of audio-visual presentations, and commercials for television, cinemas and the Internet.
The Philippine participation at the MIPCOM was supported by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), the Philippine Embassy in Paris, the Philippine Trade and Investment Center in Paris (PTIC-Paris), and the Department of Trade and Industry’s Export Marketing Bureau (DTI-EMB)
