  • BE Grand Resort in Panglao Island: A Go-to Resort for Families Looking for Beyond Expected Services
  • The youngest out of Bohol’s resorts, Be Grand Resort is primed and ready to become Panglao’s go-to resort for families and friends alike. It’s a resort so stacked in terms of design, dining, and activities you won’t mind extending your stay.

Less than a year old, BE Grand is ran by Cebu-based Enrison Land, Inc. With help from some of the country’s best (Kenneth Cobonpue for furniture, Johnny Alcazaren for the art, and Paulo Alcazaren for the overall design), BE Grand is the epitome of modern resort design.

The moment you arrive, you’re already sent to a world you’ll surely want to go back to. The sprawling resort lobby features some of Kenneth Cobonpue’s best pieces, while the mural made by Johnny is as splendid as any work of art.

Add the warm welcome by hotel staff and you’re already in paradise… within the paradise that is Panglao.

ONE OF THE ROOMS. Here’s one of their Oceana Suites (Php 24,500 nett/night).

The resort has a total of 189 rooms and 19 suites, more than half of which have a view of the ocean and the free-form pool.

Each room is equipped with the latest in modern conveniences: flat-screen TV with cable, Wi-Fi, mini-bar chiller, and bathrooms with hot and cold rain shower enclosure.

Their villas are surrounded by a moat pool!

The villas, however, are what you should be going for. Apart from what you’ll get in the rooms, each villa has access to a moat pool and the resort’s signature restaurant called The Boathouse, one of many dining options at BE Grand.

    Grand Villa (Php 40,500 nett/night)

Speaking of dining options, guests who aren’t checked into a villa can choose between one of the other four dining options that are just as good yet not as exclusive as The Boathouse.

WINE CELLAR. Yes, the Food Hall at Be Grand has a wine cellar.

THE BRIDGE. It literally looks like the bridge of a ship, as well as looking like a bridge across the property.

THE LUNE. Panglao’s only rooftop bar.

There’s The Food Hall at the Lower Lobby level, a local take on the gastropub; The Bridge, an al fresco international restaurant that’s located by the pool; Monkey Bar, which serves light snacks, grilled food, and refreshments all while in full view of the sea; and The Lune, the only rooftop lounge in Panglao that serves tapas and cocktails, including an array of mojitos.

So for services and offerings that will truly exceed your expectations, visit BE Grand in Brgy. Danao, Panglao Island, Bohol!
